Objective
To develop through action research, a training programme in Multi-Media Production skills to service the emerging market in the cultural industries and commercial industries generally. Base line activity carried out through integrative assignment from existing constituent training programmes in sound engineering, T.V. and video production, animation and art and music performance.
MAIN DOMAIN OF INNOVATION:
Training providers as innovative service centres. Commercial sector involvement as co-designers, consultants on training content; providers of specialist tutors to participants. Enterprises has a validation and assessment function for the programme.
TARGET GROUP(S):
Young people in initial training/education. Unqualified or less qualified. Women. People with artistic/creative talent who require training and a technology interface to gain employable skills.
OPERATING CONTEXT:
Economic regeneration. This programme enables artistic people to train in new media technologies & secure marketable skills
