Objetivo
THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROJECT IS THE OPTIMAL ELIMINATION OF WASTE OIL TOGETHER WITH RECOVERY OF VALUABLE SUBSTANCES AND A MINIMUM OF EMISSION.
IN ORDER NOT TO POLLUTE OR DILUTE THE PYROLYSIS PRODUCTS,THE FLUIDIZED BED, CONSISTING OF FINE QUARTZ SAND OR CARBON BLACK IS HEATED INDIRECTLY BY RADIATION FIRE TUBES BETWEEN 500 AND 900 CELSIUS DEGREES. THE CONTINUOUSLY PYROLYSIS SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT IN A THREE STAGE SCALE UP (LABORATORY PLANTS 200 G/H AND 2 KG/H, PILOT PLANT 30 KG/H) WHICH ARE ALREADY INSTALLED IN THE INSTITUTE.
IN CASE OF PROCESSING HALOGENE CONTAINING WASTE OILS IN A FOLLOWING STEP THERE SHOULD BE BUILD UP A SECOND FLUIDIZED BED WHICH CONTAINS METAL POWDER TO DEHALOGENATE THE PRODUCTS. IN A SIMILAR MANNER THE OLEFINE GAS SHOULD BE CONVERTED INTO AROMATICS BY ZEOLITHES.
IT MUST BE ALSO POSSIBLE TO WIN 85 % OF HYDROCARBONS BY PYROLYSIS OF THE OIL DISTILLATION RESIDUE. SO IN TOTAL MORE THAN 95 % OF CLEAN OIL OR HYDROCARBONS CAN BE RECOVERED FROM WASTE OIL. THE EMISSION OF THIS PROCESS IS VERY SMALL. IN THE PYROLYSIS RESIDUE THE HEAVY METALS ARE CONCENTRATED IN A CARBON MATRIX. THIS RESIDUE SHOULD BE TREATED WITH WATER TO MEASURE THE METAL CONCENTRATIONS IN THE ELUATE.
