Objective
Increase general knowledge of advanced informatics and logistics and the integration of these disciplines at post graduate level in order to supply a broad/complete education/training structure. Completion of the part time programme will lead to a masters degree.
MAIN DOMAIN OF INNOVATION:
Training providers as innovative service centres. Through an enterprise access to and information about automation of logistics industry. Recruiting trainees through industry. More agreements with industry about content of training programme.
TARGET GROUP(S):
Managers. People working in SMEs. Unemployed adults. At this stage the project is aimed at managers, later it will be expanded to young people and unemployed adults.
OPERATING CONTEXT:
Raising qualifications. Competitiveness. Create one structure of the disciplines of informatics/logistics (university level).
TECHNOLOGY:
Information and communication technologies. More precise: information technology and automated logistics.
INVOLVEMENT WITH ENTERPRISES:
Training institute-enterprise cooperation.
INVOLVEMENT OF SOCIAL PARTNERS:
Joint social partnership steering/advisory groups. Funding by social partners.
RESULTS:
Transferable models and concepts. Training programmes/courses for advanced technologies. Integrated training upply in logistics and informatics to be developed with/for businesses, run in different Member States.
