Objective

To demonstrate how PV can provide drinking water and electricity to remote areas on the Greek island of Melos visited by thousands every year.

The system layout is now fixed.
By and large the following data can be retained :
13 kWp for the desalination unit,
3. 5 kWp for the restaurant,
1. 5 kWp for a water packing unit,
2. 5 kWp for the goat farm,
13. 8 kWp for thirty houses, including 20 street lighting poles.
Siemens modules SM 555 are foreseen.
