Objective
To demonstrate and promote the use of grid connected PV generators to reduce the consumption of grid electricity by a garage. The PV array is architecturally integrated into the garage buildings.
A PV generator is architecturally integrated into the roof of a garage, and connected to the local low voltage grid. Surplus electricity is fed to the medium voltage grid via an inverter and a transformer at 5000/20000 V according to ENEL requirements. The inverter incorporates a maximum power point tracker.
