. To develop and test a comprehensive methodology for the evaluation of the quality of the transport systems amd services in Europe.
. To validate such methodology through the comparison of the quality of alternative modal solutions for selected transport relations.
. To support decision making of planners, inventors and managers of transport systems in the identification of policies and strategies.
. To substantiate information and communication compaigns aiming at steering the users preference towards higher quality transport solutions.
. To identify and elaborate indicators allowing to measure the internal performance and the perceived quality of transport systems and services.
. To assess and validate a methodological framework for the internalisation of externalities into the valuation of transport systems.

. To classify variables and parameters to be used for the valuation of transport systems. . To assess the availability of data for the actual implementation of the valuation methodology. . To develop interactive, state-of-the-art software for user friendly applications of the methodology.

. A joint Scientific Committee will be established with PETS, EUROTOLL and TRENEN, so as to guarantee relations between Tasks 1.2/14 and 1.2/15. . Outputs from the project should also feed into Tasks 1.2/17, 1.2/18 and 1.2/19
