Final Report Summary - RISKYREWARDS (Neuronal processing of risky rewards)
We investigated multiple aspects of the neuronal processing of risky rewards and behavioural choices between options with different levels of risk. Risk is processed in two forms, (1) as a stand-alone neuronal signal irrespective of the value of the mean outcome, and (2) as a part of economic utility, the mathematical description of subjective value as a function of objective value, as derived from preferences in controlled, binary choices.
