Objectif THE APPLICANT REQUESTS THE STUDY AND REALIZATIONS OF A NEW SYSTEM OF PLASTIC REFUSE COLLECTING IN ORDER TO FEED THE RECYCLING PROCESS. HIS 15 YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN GLASS COLLECTING BY MEANS OF CONTAINERS ON THE PARKING OF SUPERMARKETS (8000 T/YEAR IN BELGIUM) WILL BE USED TO DEVELOP AN ANALOGOUS SYSTEM FOR RECYCLING. A FOUR-STEP METHOD IS PROPOSED: - AN EXHAUSTIVE STUDY OF THE MARKET OF PLASTIC PACKAGING, PRINCIPALLY IN THE DRINKSSECTOR, IN ORDER TO KNOW THE VOLUME OF RECYCLABLE PLASTICS AND THEIR NATURE, AS WELL AS MARKETING POSSIBILITIES OF THE RECYCLED MATERIALS; - A CREATIVE TEAM SPECIALIZED IN SYNECTICS (W. GORDON, HARVARD UNIVERSITY) AND LATERAL THINKING (E. DE BONO) WILL TRY TO DEVELOP NEW APPROACHES TO THIS PROBLEM AND PROPOSE POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS; - THE APPLICANT WILL THEN SELECT OR TWO OF THOSE SOLUTIONS AND MATERIALIZE PROTOTYPES; - SUBSEQUENTLY THESE WILL BE TESTED IN THIS FIELD. THE WHOLE PROCESS WILL BE TECHNICALLY COACHED BY FN INDUSTRY AS TO MECHANICAL AND CHEMICAL IMPLICATIONS.
