1 - IMPROVEMENT IN THE BASIC KNOWLEDGE ON WASTE
CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF VARIOUS WASTES COMING FROM PLANT AND ANIMAL MANAGEMENT.BATCH ANAEROBIC DIGESTION OF SOLID WASTE. PERFORMANCE ON A CONTINOUS METHANISATION PROCESS ARE LIMITED UP TO NOW TO PUMPABLE WASTES.
2 - PROPOSED PROGRAMME ON METHANISATION
MULTIANNUAL RESEARCH PROGRAMME ON ANAEROBIC FERMENTATION FOLLOWING LABORATORY PILOT EXPERIMENTS ALWAYS IN PROGRESS. TENTATIVES IN THE USE OF A SUBSTRATE WITH HIGH DRY MATTER CONTENT I-E SOLID MANURE OR CELLULISIC RESIDUES INCLUDING STRAW IN A CONTINOUS SYSTEM.
1980-1981 - CHARACTERISATION AND TESTING METHANOGENIC POTENTIAL OF VARIOUS SUBSTRATE. DETERMINATION OF THE LIMITING FACTORS (D.M. LIGNIN, CELLULOLYTIC ACTIVITY).
1981-1983 - CONCEPTION AND REALIZATION OF A DIGESTOR FOR SUBSTRATES WITH HIGH D.M. CONTENT.
1983-1984 - INTERPRETATION OF THE RESULTS: TRUE ENERGETIC BALANCE: CONCLUSIONS AND ADVISES.
