NEW TECHNOLOGY FOR BLEACHED HIGH YIELD PULPS

Objetivo

THE OBJECTIVES OF PROPOSED RESEARCH ARE :

- TO OBTAIN IMPROVED OPTICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF HIGH YIELD PULPS,
- TO USE LOWER GRADE WOOD FROM VARIOUS REGIONS AND SAW MILL WASTE TO MAKE HIGH YIELD PULP,
- TO REDUCE THE INVESTMENT COST OF CHEMICAL PULPING.

OBJECTIVES :

- PRODUCTION OF PULPS AT 60-65 % ELREPHO BRIGHTNESS FOR NEWSPRINT,
- PRODUCTION OF PULPS AT 75-80 % ELREPHO BRIGHTNESS FOR PRINTING GRADES.

THE STUDY IS CARRIED OUT IN A HIGH YIELD PULPING PILOT PLANT WITH A NEW TECHNOLOGY (TWIN-SCREW DEFIBRIZER) INSTALLED IN LANCEY MILL (AUSSEDAT REY GROUP). THE CAPACITY OF THIS PILOT PLANT IS 400 KG/HOUR OF PULP.
THE PRINCIPAL AIM OF THIS STUDY IS THE BLEACHING OF THE PULP.THE PROGRAMME COMPRISES TWO PARTS:
- BLEACHING OF SOFTWOOD (SPRUCE) HIGH YIELD PULPS (SAWMILL WASTE)
OBJECTIVES :
. PRODUCTION OF PULPS AT 60
.65 % ELREPHO BRIGHTNESS FOR NEWSPRINT ,
AND HOUSEHOLD PRODUCTS.
- BLEACHING OF HARDWOOD HIGH YIELD PULPS (ASPEN, POPLAR, HARDWOOD MIXTURES. PRODUCTION OF PULPS AT 75-80 % ELREPHO BRIGHTNESS FOR PRINTING GRADES
