Obiettivo CHARACTERIZATION OF THE PHYSIOLOGY OF FOREST TREES DAMAGED BY AIR POLLUTANTS. THE ALTERATION OF THE PLANT METABOLISM DUE TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL INFLUENCE COMPARED WITH NOT INJURED TREES SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED. THE PROJECT IS DIVIDED INTO 4 MAIN POINTS: 1. MEASUREMENTS OF THE CO2 EXCHANGES AND TRANSPIRATION B. BIOCHEMICAL ANALYSIS: CONTENT OF PIGMENTS, STARCH AND IMPORTANT IONS C.
