Objetivo To study water breakthrough and water cut evolution at rospo mare field, a heavy and viscous oil field with bottom water driver.Rospo 4, vertical well, was pumped at 230 m3/d with pressure interference measured on rospo 5 before pumping this well at 50 m3 /d (due to its worse productivity). At 230 m3/d, the breakthrough occured on rospo 4 after an oil production of8,700 m3 (in agreement with the value forecast by model): then an initial critical rate of 130 m3/d with reversibility of water coning was evidenced. (initial critical rate of rospo 5 was less than 25 m3/d). Even if encouraging, these results do not allow to foresee the development of rospo oil field with subvertical wells.1st stage: realisation and laying of a fixed platform "rospo mare a" with its evacuation terminal. Drilling of 2 partial penetration wells: a vertical one, a directional one (out of project). Realisation of production equipment.2nd stage: production test with interference test, and study of water breakthrough time and water cut evolution.
