Objective The aim of this project is to demonstrate the combination of solar power supply with agricultural activties in Germany. By using an intelligent system controller the cost of modules and batteries can be minimized.2976 Wp array, controller, and 22 kWh battery to drive a 11 kW DC motor stirring liquid manure on a farm in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Manure is stored seasonally and must be stirred continuously to produce the homogeneity needed for use as a fertiliser. Control strategy is optimised during the monitoring period, e.g. minimizing battery capacity.Nr. subsystems : 1Power subsys. : 2976 WpTotal power : 2976 WpBackup : noneNr. of modules : 64Module descript. : AEG type PQ40/50Connection : 16 in series (220 V), 4 parallel stringsSupport : on a roof kind rack, sheltering agricultural equipmentMax. pwr. trcker : noneChrg. controler : ISC system of SETBattery : VARTAVoltage : 220 V dcCapacity (Ah) : 100 AhInverter : Auxiliary inverter (for air-bubble pump of the battery and for the monitoring system ?)Load descript. : 11 kW dc motor in twirling device "Rotomix".Monitoring : Analytical monitoring is installed.
