Objective

Set of expert systems combined in an integrated system; will cover : - data collection and validation - data storage and retrieval - production of statistics and imputation - presentation of summary statistisc and analysis.
A system, CASIP, has been developed, and Dutch, English and Portuguese versions have been made. It comprises a set of expert systems combined in an integrated system; covering data collection and validation;
data storage and retrieval;
production of statistics and imputation;
presentation of summary statistics and analysis.

An existing system was used for the formulation of the data collection system. An intelligent system overseas storage and retrieval of data, and there are intelligent interfaces with existing statistical packages.
Technical approach : - use of Blaise for the formulation of the data collection system - intelligent system for storage and retrieval - intelligent interfaces with existing statistical packages Expected impact : Tests will be done in two real life data collection processes (Neth. and Port.)
