Objectif The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is the key global climate science-policy interface, underpinning European and international climate change policy-making and is the leading global body responsible for the scientific assessment of climate change. In preparation of the next Assessment Report, support will be provided to increase the participation of experts from developing countries and EU countries, should their governments be unable to provide appropriate funding, consistent with IPCC practices, to the IPCC process and enhance visibility of the IPCC goals in Europe.
