Objective

Deliverables

  • Documentation of local needs

Documentation of local needs identified by communities (M9, Report, PU, Responsible: IAAC) Report detailing local needs, in close cooperation with WP3.

  • Documentation on firmware to integrate sensors

Documentation on firmware required to integrate sensors to Smart Citizen and APIs to visualise data (M6, Report, PU, Responsible: IAAC) Technical documentation that will allow 3rd parties to integrate new sensors into the Smart Citizen platform and read out relevant data

  • Guidelines on participatory ap-proach and train-ing co-design workshops

Guidelines on participatory approach and training co-design workshop (M3, Report, PU, Responsible: JRC)

  • Dissemination and communication plan

Dissemination and communication plan (M2, Report, CO, Responsible: IAAC) Report document including the general plan to be followed for the dissemination and communication activities of Making Sense.

  • Recommenda-tions and guide-lines for engaging communities with agencies and policy bodies

Recommendations and guidelines for engaging communities with agencies and policy bodies using Powerful Deliberate Practices (M6, Report, PU, Responsible: DUNDEE) Recommendations and guidelines for the use of ‘Powerful Deliberate Practices’ from an open design open hardware perspective, outlining the use, development and adaption of the methods, processes and approaches.

  • Recommendations for community level indicators

Recommendations for community level indicators for each pilot location (M9, Report, PU, Responsible: DUNDEE) A document outlining the pre campaign, co-operative community level indicators arising from workshops in each pilot location.

  • "Report ""Mapping the landscape of environmental monitoring in Europe"""

"Report ""Mapping the landscape of environmental monitoring in Europe"" based on WP2-5 findings (M4, Report, PU, Responsible: IAAC) This document report will contain a summary of best practices including tools and methodologies, used in successful participatory sensing initiatives. This report is combined with D4.1."

  • Online technical toolkit

Online technical toolkit containing access to tools and practices (M12, OTHER, PU, Responsible: IAAC) A knowledge and resource online environment that will foster community appropriation of existing sensing technology infrastructures, encourage data sense making pro-cesses, embed technical and methodological skills and foster learning among partici-pants and across communities.
