Project description
Promoting researchers’ work in Madrid
The EU-funded MadridERN 2018-2019 project will organise the European Researchers’ Night in Madrid to demonstrate the role of researchers in European citizens’ welfare through technological innovation, advancement of knowledge, and response to the main challenges facing modern societies in Europe and beyond. Under the motto ‘Researchers, the key drivers of growth in Europe’, the project will connect researchers and their work to the general public through inspiring and entertaining events to break stereotypes about science and researchers’ work. MadridERN 2018-2019 will promote science and research among young people to stimulate interest in scientific careers. The project will also carry out a vast awareness campaign with a sound communication plan combining traditional and modern means.
