Conference on the “Impact of Social Sciences and Humanities for a European Research Agenda - Valuation of SSH research in mission-oriented research”

Project description

Coming together to strengthen the impact of social sciences and humanities research

Research often goes hand-in-hand with development, yet scientific and technological fields are not alone in conducting focussed, goal-based research with significant societal impact. The EU is a staunch supporter of social sciences and humanities (SSH) research and innovation that can foster a greater understanding of Europe and provide solutions for inclusive, innovative and reflective European societies. The EU-funded SSH Impact project organised and evaluated the Austrian Presidency of the EU Council’s conference ‘Impact of Social Sciences and Humanities for a European Research Agenda – Valuation of SSH in Mission-oriented Research’ to debate and assess valuation and impact generation of SSH in research settings.
