Project description
Fellowships for future European network pioneers
In times of crisis, the leveraging of human-centric technologies for the Next Generation Internet (NGI) is becoming more and more crucial for communities. Europe must ensure the development and adoption of advanced concepts and methodologies responding to its fundamental needs and values. In this context, the EU-funded NGI Explorers project will organise missions to the United States in the frame of fellowships for the best European internet researchers and innovators. Participants will obtain the necessary skills, the network and the resources that will empower them as future pioneers of European NGI. As the result of this EU-US collaboration, the European NGI ecosystem and novelty ‘made in Europe’ services and products will drive the way forward.
