Project description

English EN

To turn the industrial sector green

The global transition towards climate neutrality hinges on the deployment of economically competitive technologies. For a low-carbon and circular industrial transformation, businesses need to find new sustainable processes. The EU-funded ECO-DEKS project will focus on the manufacturing and service sectors of Nigeria using both qualitative and quantitative data. It will investigate the extent to which Nigerian firms search for knowledge outside their competence and whether there is a threshold beyond which this search diminishes the propensity to eco-innovate. The results will contribute to policies aimed at creating a green economy driven by a sustainably eco-friendly private sector.
