Scaling Up Educational Innovations in Schools

Project description

Smart ideas for research in education

To become more competitive, the European educational research area needs a significant upgrade in quality, scalability and impact. The EU-funded SEIS project aims to reinforce innovation research in education by supporting a partnership of the Centre of Excellence in Educational Innovation (CEEI) in Tallinn with its partners from Finland and Norway. The CEEI is developing sustainable practices in education to establish evidence of their effectiveness. It applies collaborations, ‘smart classroom’ concepts, cognitive basis for students’ critical reasoning, creative problem solving, and new technologies. The project SEIS will help CEEI become a leader in competitive educational research and innovation, influencing educational innovation research across Europe.
