Project description
Training next generation in e-field control of magnetism
The aim of Green IT is to minimise the negative impact of information technology (IT) operations on the environment. Research in this area is expected ultimately to lead to ultralow power devices for computation and communication with new functionalities. The EU-funded MagnEFi project is an innovative training network funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions programme. It will bring together world-leading experts and private companies to provide enhanced training and education to early stage researchers on electric field effects on nanoscale magnetic structures. The aim is to make a scientific impact in terms of the design and performance of multi-functional spintronics devices. The consortium provides a rich training environment that is both international and intersectoral.
