Project description
IoT-ready sensors for safer robot jobs
Robots are being used in many industries, especially in difficult and dangerous environments that may be too risky for humans. Robots operating side-by-side with human workers also poses a risk. This is mainly due to inefficient strategies or detecting systems. The EU-funded preSENSE project will support the production of the mmWave Radar Sensor network. First of its kind, this network contains a smart sensor and cloud-based software with specific algorithms. It can intercept objects with a high degree of accuracy. The IoT-ready device is designed to serve different industrial sectors and can be connected with many services. This innovative product will successfully compete in local and international markets.
