Project description
Embedding artificial intelligence into 5G communication systems
Artificial intelligence (AI) can combine with 5G communication systems for the smart use of data and automated network management. To do so, it requires specialised researchers to adapt 5G communication systems to changes in traffic models, security risks and user conduct for more secure and trustworthy advanced wireless structures. The EU-funded MOTOR5G project intends to insert AI into 5G communication systems. It will examine the use of drone-based technology to improve multi-antenna and data forwarding techniques and the use of AI for innovative adaptive digital beamforming techniques in realistic antenna arrays. Also, the project will examine advanced business patterns to support their profitable application beyond 5G ecosystems.
