Project description
Digitalisation for sustainable wood mobility
The dissemination of best practices and sustainable wood mobilisation represent key targets of the European Horizon 2020 project. ROSEWOOD is a European network that connects stakeholders in North, East, Central and South Europe. The main challenges faced by the forest industry are the amelioration of access to resources and the growth of market share. The EU-funded ROSEWOOD4.0 project aims to develop relations and exchange of information between stakeholders in Eastern Europe by establishing a new Eastern Hub. The project places emphasis on digitalisation to train stakeholders along the forest value chain to dispense knowledge for effective wood mobilisation. ICT solutions will increase the competitiveness of the European forest industry and the development of rural areas.
