Project description

Supporting Europe's most vulnerable citizens

Targeted actions are needed to better protect the rights of Europe's most vulnerable citizens, including the poor, the elderly and children. Innovation in social services delivery is essential to create sustainable improvements for users across a range of social services. This EU-funded project is proposing the European Social Catalyst Fund (ESCF) as a key stimulus factor in the delivery of socially innovative initiatives that have the capacity to scale up to make a real impact at national and international levels. The ESCF is designed to bring together public and private resources in a range of collaborations that focus on the role philanthropy and social impact finance play in working with governments to ensure public funds are allocated in the interest of EU citizens.
