Preparations to reshape dissemination of social sciences
The European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) plays a key role in policymaking on research infrastructures in Europe. A self-regulated body, its mandate is to establish a European roadmap for research infrastructures for the next 20 years. The EU-funded OPERAS-P project will support the European research infrastructure for open-access publications in the social sciences and humanities. Specifically, it will develop a government plan, a vision and a business model addressing the long-term sustainability of the infrastructure. Overall, the project will support the implementation of innovative services to address transnational access to publication services based on the interoperability between publishing services and bridging towards the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) marketplace, which was designed to empower 1.7 million European researchers and 70 million professionals in science and technology.
