Project description
Better navigation services for drones and elite sports
Location determination in an obstructed area can be very challenging, especially if the Global Positioning System is blocked. Users will find it difficult to navigate directly on-site in such conditions. The EU-funded GEONAV IoT project aims to develop and deliver precise positioning and navigation applications and services. The core activity of the project is to develop and industrialise the second evolution phase of the GEONAV IoT solution, following NAVISP Element 2 outcomes (technology readiness level 7). The project duration is 18 months, and the wider ambition is to make the European industry a leader in the location-based services and drones markets.
