Project description
Transition to digitalised industries through responsible research and innovation
To keep pace with technology, industries need to advance their processes through research and innovation (R&I). With this in mind, the EU-funded DigiTeRRI project aims to develop a framework for the responsible transition of traditional industry regions into digitalised industry R&I ecosystems. The framework will be elaborated together with the impacted industries, relevant authorities and affected citizens. Strategies will be formed to implement resilient R&I ecosystems for digitalised industries in traditional industry territories. The project will point the way to resilient R&I ecosystems through openness, democratic accountability, and responsiveness to the needs of industries and society.
