Advancing Russian megascience projects
A European-Russian agreement was approved in 2018 for closer collaboration in the field of large-scale research infrastructures in the shape of the CREMLIN project financed by the EU research and innovation programme Horizon 2020. For this reason, a consortium comprising European and Russian laboratories was established in order to map out the project's technical details. The EU-funded CREMLINplus project aims to implement the European-Russian collaboration roadmaps. It will ensure the improvement and harmonisation of framework conditions along two paths. The first involves the technical preparation in order to develop and produce cutting-edge novelty technologies for Russian megascience projects and their European RI partners. The second is the preparation of Russian research infrastructures at 11 laboratories for international access and utilisation.
