Building a strong base for bioscience, bioindustry
The Microbial Resource Research Infrastructure (MIRRI) is the European research infrastructure project that will offer the highest quality scientific support microbial resources: high-quality microorganisms, associated data and the broad expertise in research and development in the biotechnology field. It is founded to serve the development of bioscience and bioindustry; promote biodiversity. But to do that MIRRI must also ensure its sustainability for the future decades. The EU-funded IS_MIRRI21 project aims to close interoperation with academia, governmental laboratories and private sector offering them access to its portfolio of microbial biological Resource Centres, services and education. A single-entry point portal will be created to promote offered services and collaboration.
