Promoting economic development in Tunisia's environment, food and health sectors
Environment, food and health sectors play an important role in the development of both European and Tunisian economy and legislation. With this in mind, the EU-funded TUNTWIN project aims to boost research excellence and knowledge transfer regarding mass spectrometry and synchrotron techniques applied to these three sectors. Its focus will be organic contaminants, element speciation, light and non-traditional isotopes, nanoparticles and food traceability, authenticity and safety. To achieve its goal, the project will establish a transnational cooperation environment and develop a sustainable framework for research capacity building, research management, international networking, finance and administration. This work will play a role in furthering the economic development of the Tunisian environment, food and health sectors.
