Project description
Increasing trust in decentralised social media
Trust is essential to society. Blockchain shifts some of the trust in people and institutions to trust in technology. The main objective of the EU-funded TreBlo project is to support and facilitate research on technology that will lead to more scalable blockchain-based solutions and applications. These will contribute to ensuring the exchange of trustworthy and reliable content on social networks and media. To achieve its aims, the project will implement a series of open calls, inviting academic and R&D research teams to define and implement small-scale research projects related to trust and reputation models on blockchains as well as proof-of-location and proof-of-validity authentication mechanisms.
