Acceptance, Safety and Sustainability Recommendations for Efficient Deployment of UAM

Project description

Flying high for urban air mobility

Tomorrow’s transportation revolution is taking shape today. From package delivery drones to passenger-carrying air taxis, the future of faster, cleaner and safer transportation systems is in the air. Vertical lift technology and urban air mobility (UAM) can make passenger-carrying operations a reality. The EU-funded ASSURED-UAM project is developing safe and sustainable recommendations for the efficient deployment of UAM, aimed at moving people by air. It will draw on aviation best practices, standards and recommendations as well as organisational solutions for city/municipal administrative and legislative structures responsible for the deployment of UAM services.
