Towards a novel network dedicated to cultural heritage
Cultural heritage, the legacy of tangible artefacts and intangible attributes from previous generations, is important for our identity and sense of belonging to a culture. Contributing to this field, the EU-funded ReInHerit project aims to connect cultural heritage collections and sites, as well as showcase Europe’s cultural heritage to citizens and tourists. It will create a novel model of sustainable heritage management that will lead to a network of key actors involved in the protection, preservation and promotion of cultural heritage. This model will be based on the development of a digital cultural heritage ecosystem which will provide key stakeholders with an open and collaborative space to experiment, share and innovate.
