Project description
Crowdsourcing enhancing cohort studies research
In a prospective cohort study, a group of similar people who differ in respect of a certain characteristic are followed over time and compared for a particular outcome. These powerful observational studies are being used to help address key research questions today. The EU-funded JoinUs4Health project will bring together Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) and crowdsourcing – a concept whereby social actors contribute to research via sharing their views and experiences – for the promotion of inclusive innovation and citizen engagement in cohort research.
