Project description
Paving the way for the next generation of connectivity
As 5G becomes progressively widespread, there is an increasing need for a solid supportive framework to facilitate its adoption. The EU-funded REINDEER project will introduce a new smart connect-compute platform with quasi-infinite capacity and zero latency and interaction with a high number of embedded devices. By developing a new wireless access infrastructure using RadioWeaves, REINDEER aims to offer consistently excellent service at minimal transmit power and ensure efficient usage of network bandwidth and energy. The project aims to reinforce technological leadership in Europe and build new market opportunities in both licensed and unlicensed bands, targeted vertical sectors and private networks outside 5G infrastructure and network service.
