Bringing innovative mental health care to the people
Mobile apps are moving into the realm of mental health care. In fact, mental health is considered one of the fastest growing sectors in the global digital health market. The EU-funded IMMERSE project aims to advance the transformation of mental health care in Europe. Focusing on person-centred care, it will integrate 20 years of research evidence on experience sampling methodology (ESM) in a new digital mobile mental health (DMMH) tool. This will consist of an ESM app assessing self-reports of mental state in daily life, a data platform that allows the analysis of these data, and a dashboard for visualisation and feedback. The project will evaluate strategies, processes and outcomes of the tool’s implementation.
