Objective The Dutch housing market is almost exclusively the reserve of concrete, brick and wood, simply because there is no tradition in the use of steel. In order to initiate market penetration, and to convince the main participants, 10 housing or office units will be constructed using the IBS self-supporting system. Contacts have already been made with institutional letting associations for the housing units and with the Eindhoven Technology University for the office units.
