Project description
Engineering new solutions for life sciences
Training young scientists on new technologies with the aim of improving life sciences research is vital for related scientific and industrial advancements. The EU-funded ENROL project will educate and train 20 exceptional early-stage researchers (ESRs) in studying and developing innovative technologies and engineering solutions for the life sciences. The programme targets ESRs interested in earning a doctorate and benefiting from mentoring and guidance to develop new materials and technologies and to enhance critical thinking. ENROL will assist researchers in performing their work within an interdisciplinary framework connecting engineering, technology and biology. The programme focus covers three research areas: theoretical prediction, model systems and analysis; synthesis, structuring and instrumentalisation; and biological applications.
