Project description
Nonlinear studies into optical and hydrodynamic systems
Funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions programme, the NWACOMPLEX project aims to study nonlinear phenomena in optics and hydrodynamics. The project will propose novel theoretical approaches and numerical tools for advanced analysis of modern experiments involved in the generation, detection and nonlinear propagation of light in optical systems and waves on the surface of water. To this end, it will combine inverse scattering transform techniques, nonlinear coherent structures and various computational methods. Project results will facilitate fundamental studies into the interaction mechanisms between coherent structures, nonlinear wave statistics and dense solitons.
