Project description
Collaboration key to scaling up energy efficiency
The EU-funded GREENROAD project aims to boost and foster dialogue between Italian public and private actors on financing issues related to energy efficiency in the building sector. Innovative solutions to boost energy efficiency and mitigate the effects of climate change are high on the EU’s green agenda. The project will set up national roundtables with high-level stakeholders to discuss current barriers and market failures, and share best practices and innovative financing solutions. In parallel, local events will take place to engage local actors and enable dissemination and replication activities. The results of this top-down and bottom-up approach will facilitate the development of tailor-made tools and mechanisms for the different stakeholders involved.
