Project description
Playing to improve social inclusion
Gender equality is a top priority in the EU and one of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. Combined, gameful technologies, humanities, psychology and education can benefit social inclusion education. In this context, the EU-funded GAMINCLUSIVE project proposes a framework of designing gameful Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) educational methods that promote cognitive, behavioural and attitudinal learning to reduce implicit bias and allow individuals to reflect, exercise and support each other’s rights. GAMINCLUSIVE will integrate research and applications with grounded theory. The project will perform a quantitative and qualitative analysis of empirical outcomes of the designed gameful instructional materials, prototypes and web learning application with user testing and controlled experiments.
