Life is Science in a Digital World

Project description

Diving in scientific discoveries in Austria

Science is omnipresent and can be applied to almost everything in life. It is important to show this to the general public. This is possible with the European Researchers’ Night events, which are held annually throughout Europe. The EU-funded Lis-Dig project will organize two subsequent editions of „Life is Science“ in Austria. The project will be based on the cooperation between acib GmbH and the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences. It will encourage all visitors to look behind the research scenes and try things by themselves in workshops dedicated to digital and life sciences. The ultimate goal is to create a passion for science and enhance understanding of how research may influence health, environment and life in our communities.
