Project description
Building researcher-student relationships
Encouraging youth, especially girls, to consider careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) is made easier when researchers work closely with them, acting as role models or mentors. The EU-funded FAWORIT project uses a mission-oriented, impact-focused approach to provide interactive, innovative solutions and address global challenges. This way, students and the public at large will better understand the work and interests of researchers. The project will do this by amplifying the role of research and innovation in society and the economy and by optimising science communication through various school events and interactions with students, teachers and the public.
