Objective - Contribution to the application of the Community Legislation in themes of the Natural Environment by means of eliminating these types of refuge. - Make possible a considerable reduction in the consummation of a natural and scarce resource such as water reducing production costs. - Improve the productive process by using a higher quality water in the rinses.The present project consists of demonstrative action with the participation of a collection of Companies highly representing the Costume Jewellery Industry section of Menorca. The galvanization, one of the most essential processes in Costume Jewellery, generates two types of contaminating refuge with regards to volume and concentration: - Concentrated: proceeding from finished baths static rinses or recuperation. - Diluted: contaminated rising waters low in concentration and high continuous volumes. The present action is focused in adopting a solution of a collective character that can be adapted effectively by an Industrial Section basically PYME'S (small and intermediate companies) and permit rectifications of the problem planted by the diluted residues. The foreseen method for the development of the project in which resides its character innovatory combined initiatives particularly or collectively in base of the following plan: - Installation in the participating companies of columns of resin interchangable ionic for the treatment of rinsing waters installing closed circuits for these. - Regeneration by means of the resources of the Institute of Technology of the finished resines for posterior use. The contaminated solution resulting from this purpose will be treated in the Central Station of Purification of the Institute.
