L'HORME MICRO HYDRO POWER PROJECT

Objetivo

The aim of the project is to build a micro hydropower station (P=1537 kW - Qmax = 0.80 m3/s - H=265 m) with an operating system similar to what is used for largest hydropower project.
A reservoir (to be also used for irrigation) of 80 000 m3 capacity is used to store and to manage water is deducted from torrent of BUISSARD. This water is used for peak power and managed by an automat to optimize peak energy.
Expected production 3 800 000 kW/y for estimation receipts : 1125 000 FF.
WATER CAPTURE
Under water capture with fish passage and unsander
BRINGING CANALISATION TO RESERVOIR
Underground steel canalisation 0 = 500 mm, length = 1300 m, Qmax = 0,5 m3/s
RESERVOIR 80 000 m3
Earth reservoir with glay stopping
Water arrival water start and water level are controled and managed by automat with tele electro watergate.
FORCED CANALISATION
Underground steel canalisation diam. 700 mm length = 200 m, diam. 600 mm = 2800 m Qmax = 0,8 m3/s
Blot line for telecommand in the same trench.
MICRO HYDROPOWER STATION
Building (area = 100 m2) which contains :
- Hydroturbine wheel with two jets (Pelton type) for Q = 0,4 to 0,8 m3/s
- Alternator 750 turns/mn Pmax = 2000 kW.
- Transformator 380 V to 20 KV
- Automate to optimize water use in peak power demand (This is with reservoir the most important part of the project).
Earth compensation reservoir 7000 m3 is used by down micro hydropower station to optimize his self work.
(This is the second important part of the project).
