Objetivo The objective of this project is to give the managers of small and medium size companies technical knowledge which enable them to take concrete initiatives and action, in their respective firms, for a better management and rational use of energy.This project has finished and main objectives described above were accomplished. Final report about this project is still ongoing.The trainig course proposed will have a time duration of 86 hours, distributed in 2 weekly sessions of 4 hours each, and the target audience will be the managers of small and medium size companies as well as decision makers in the field of energy management and conservation. Monitors will be specialists in the subject from the Centro para a Conservação de Energia (CCE), Instituto Nacional de Engenharia e Tecnologia Industrial (INETI) and the portuguese General Directorate for Energy (DGE).The structure of the course is as follows:- Energy Fundamentals- Energetic Sources and Energy Conservation- Efficient Energetic Technologies- Economic Evaluation of Projects- Legislation and Energy Policy.
