Objetivo New high nitrogen (0,3 to 0,8%) stainless steels have recently been developed. The aim of this project is to compare the thermodynamic data with experimental results in order to define the thermodynamic and kinetic aspects of nitrogen in solid and liquid phases. These results would allow the production of high nitrogen composition by AOD/VOD methods.
