Objetivo This research project will use plant trials in combination with laboratory measurements of slag parameters to improve steel cleanness through: - an extension of knowledge of the thermodynamics of slags; - optimization of production processes;- extension of process control;- extension and improvement of existing thermodynamic models for application in practical steelmaking.
